The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with the company’s strategic customers (Chain & Franchise Retail, Car dealers, Renting & Leasing companies, department stores and national wholesalers), ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing business value.
The primary role is to develop new channels relationships, sales, retention, and growth strategies for key accounts, aligning with company objectives and ensuring long-term profitability. Also, be responsible for public and private tenders.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop commercial relationships with key clients and large accounts.
2. Understand customer needs and expectations to provide tailored solutions.
3. Design and implement sales and retention strategies to maximize account profitability.
4. Negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, and service conditions.
5. Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, customer service, finance, etc.) to ensure efficient service delivery.
6. Analyze market trends and customer performance to identify growth opportunities.
7. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account performance analyses.
8. Identify risks and propose solutions to mitigate potential issues in client relationships.
9. Ensure compliance with commercial agreements and customer satisfaction.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or related fields.
• A postgraduate degree or specialization in sales, negotiation, or commercial management is a plus.
• English is a must
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in key account management or large account management. Automotive or tire business knowledge is a must.
• Experience in negotiation, chain and franchise knowledge, and commercial strategy development.

• Able to demonstrate sound understanding of financial acumen (eg P&L, GM% etc).
• Ability to organize workload, be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are achieved
• Ability to work alone on own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, able to successfully negotiate and influence at a senior level
• Able to develop and maintain strong relationships
• Good IT knowledge and skills, to include Excel
• Flexibility to travel and stay overnight
