Job Description:

We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Commercial Director to spearhead our client's international growth and commercial operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial roadmap with a primary focus on the European market. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will manage a functional team, build a robust distribution network, and oversee the brand's marketing and positioning strategy. You will act as a key link between the market and internal departments, ensuring that the company's products and services exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities:

Define and implement the organization's international commercial strategy, establishing clear objectives, budgets, and sales plans aligned with the company's business goals.
Develop and manage the commercial network by selecting, negotiating with, and monitoring distributors, charter companies, and final clients to drive sales growth.
Lead direct commercial activities, including high-level client and partner visits, the preparation of proposals and contracts, and the closing of strategic operations.
Drive the marketing and brand positioning strategy by analyzing market trends and competition, while promoting digital and commercial actions to strengthen market presence.
Act as the 'voice of the customer' within the organization, coordinating with product development, production, and after-sales areas to translate market needs into product improvements.
Manage and mentor the commercial team, ensuring high performance and alignment with the company's functional objectives.
Monitor and report on commercial KPIs, providing strategic insights to the executive leadership team.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Director or in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the maritime, sustainable technology, or premium industrial sectors.
- Strong track record in international business development, specifically within the European market.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and expanding distributor networks and B2B partnerships.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business vision into actionable commercial plans.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in other European languages is highly valued.
- Availability for frequent international travel.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in the nautical or charter industry.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and brand positioning for premium products.
- Background in engineering or technical sales.
